What you will learn
This lab is designed to help you move from uncertainty to clarity as you discern your calling and next steps through real ministry experience in your current context. You’ll grow in leadership and discipleship skills, develop a personalized growth plan, and be formed in ministry foundations, leadership, relationships, and mission so you don’t just learn about ministry—you grow into it.

This yearlong training journey equips you for gospel-centered ministry and mission through four core classes focused on foundations, leadership, relationships, and contextual engagement. Along the way, hands-on Lab Weeks and a personalized wrap-up help you apply your learning to your unique calling.

This class lays a foundation for ministry by helping you understand how the gospel, the Holy Spirit, God’s kingdom, and His mission all work together to shape both your life and your leadership. It focuses on growing in your ability to apply the gospel, develop a healthy spiritual life (including navigating suffering and spiritual warfare), understand the kingdom of God, and live with a missional mindset—so that all of it ultimately informs how you lead and participate in the life of the church.

This class celebrates the specific, unique, & perfect ways God has wired you for kingdom ministry. Specifically, we’ll focus on competencies like: personal history; self-awareness ; leadership giftings & experiences ; and time management. You’ll do some additional work on applying the gospel to various situations as well.

This class celebrates the various angles of relationship that are true in nearly every ministry. Specifically, we’ll focus on thriving relationships, with/within God, your household …Christian community and loving non-believers. Our fourth class focuses on non-believers so this one will prioritize the first three.

This class lays a foundation for gospel-centered, Spirit-led, mission-focused, kingdom-focused ministry. Specifically, we’ll focus on competencies like: gospel understanding & application ; and your spiritual life, including warfare & suffering in kingdom ministry; an understanding of the kingdom of God and how it relates to ministry; a missional worldview & engagement and how both those shape church ministry.
