Long-time city missionary & church planter HUGH HALTER will kick off Plant Fort Worth's 2026-27 season of leader gatherings with a special half-day event, helping us uncover places God is at work around us, join God's vision for transformation, and create beautiful kingdom ecosystems that embody the authentic good news of Jesus. 

Every generation has a vital role to play in God's mission, yet many churches struggle to move beyond equipping a specific age group or two. Drawing on years of experience in a major university town, Dusty Thompson (Redeemer Church, Lubbock) will explore how leaders can equip children, students, adults, and seniors — and everyone in between — to serve God together. Through practical principles, real-life stories, and discussion, you'll gain ideas for cultivating a church where every generation is actively engaged in ministry.

Most church leaders want to see their people engaged in ministry, yet many struggle to move them from spectators to participants. Drawing on years of ministry across multiple Latino contexts, Obe Arellano (Director, Exponential Español) will lead us in exploring how leaders can equip ordinary believers to serve according to their unique gifting and the Spirit's power. Through practical principles, real-life stories, and discussion, you'll gain fresh vision and tangible ideas for helping more of your people join in God's work.

Information alone does not produce mature disciples. Drawing from years of counseling, Tim Watson (Metroplex Counseling) will help us consider how leaders can cultivate the spiritual formation, character, and affection for Christ that sustain a lifetime of faithful ministry among our churches. Through practical principles, stories, and discussion, you'll gain tools for helping people move beyond knowledge to genuine transformation

Brian will help us equip God’s people to tangibly apply Scripture and Christian doctrine in accessible, practical ways, in mission and ministry.

Our final Latino Leader Gathering of the Fall will be a Christmas party. Bring your families, prepare for some fun and games, and let’s head into the Christmas holidays reminding each other of the good news of Jesus’ birth for ourselves, even as we proclaim it to others this season!
